Help Us Make a Codex!

We need your help! The 1st-Place Codex will be our first release of 2026. For this one, we're digging into our archives to give a second chance to some content that hasn't yet seen the light of day, but there's a catch: only one archived item for each category will be included. All of the content will eventually be released, but only you can decide who the real winners are.Vote below by November 1st and let the best ideas win!

Revenant's Codex Sneak Peak

10/7/25

A Paladin's grave, the epitaph "His fought hard, but it was not enough." A skeletal hand breaks through the mound, clawing the stone. The Paladin's work is not yet done.Just in time for Halloween, our spookiest release yet comes out on 10/10. Here is a sneak peek: two new Bindings featured in the Revenant's Codex, compatible with our Summoner class.

Revenant Knight
3rd-Tier Binding
As an action, once per long rest, you can summon a Revenant Knight to your service for 10 minutes. The Revenant Knight appears in a space within 30 feet of you and obeys your verbal commands (no action required).

Revenant's Rend
1st-Tier Binding
You bind the spirit of a vengeful undead who marks your enemies with their hate. As an action on your turn, you can make a ranged spell attack using your Summoning ability against a creature within 120 feet. On a hit, the target takes 1d8 necrotic damage. If the target is not resistant to necrotic damage, it is marked until the end of your next turn. The first time the marked creature takes damage, the mark ends early, dealing additional damage of the same type as the triggering damage equal to your Summoning ability modifier.
You can rend multiple creatures when you reach higher levels: two rays at 5th level, three at 11th level, and four at 17th level. You can direct the rends at the same target or at different ones, making a separate attack roll for each additional rend. If you hit the same target with multiple rends, you increase the lethality of your mark, causing the additional damage it deals when ending early to increase by an amount equal to your Summoner ability modifier for each additional rend.
